Fion

Veterinary Technician Assistant

After finishing her Bachelor’s degree and working at another veterinary hospital for some time, Fion joined the Lansdowne Animal Hospital team as a full-time veterinary technician assistant in 2018. Under the mentorship of Dr Rana, Fion is currently in the 3rd year of her distance education Diploma for becoming a Registered Veterinary Technologist through prestigious Thompson Rivers University (Kamloops). She has been a great asset to our hospital. She has always been interested in the animal health field, which is sparked by her love for all furry critters, large and small. Growing up with hamsters established a soft spot for rodents in her heart. Apart from working tirelessly at Lansdowne Animal Hospital, she volunteers with a wide variety of animals, reaching out in any way she can. In her spare time, Fion enjoys reading.

"Dragon" - Our Cat Angel in Kitty Heaven (1997-2017)

Dragon was a 20.5 years old very handsome cat. Dragon had been with us since 1998. He was a rescue cat through Richmond Homeless Cats Shelter (presently known as Richmond Animal Protection Society). He was a celebrity in his own right. Clients often stopped by just to be greeted and Dragon never disappointed his adoring fans! Sadly, we had to say goodbye to him in summer of 2017 after a long, happy life. He was the best cat ever. He will be always remembered and will remain a part of our hospital.
